My class room is a lovely room. Mrs Hughes is a lovely teacher she does lovely things. She lets us play sometimes.

I like my teacher {Mrs Hughes} she does a lot of fun stuff she tells us lots of things she does great numeracy with us and we all have a great time with her.

I like my teacher Mrs Hughes. Athletics club is great fun. I like learning.

St Annes is great ,probably the best school in Oldand Common. I can't wait until year 5 with Mrs Booth.Teachers are cool.

Heyy I'm Madie And i Left St Annes Last July (2008) :(
I Was sad about Leaving and was gonna miss St Annes but like Holly i have been into help with reading and stuff like that on one of my inservice days!

Just had a look at the Gallery, Tour of the School, can't see photos of the swimming pool, or the T-Rex.

Remember when it was built, all the parents helped build the pool, my dad built one corner of the shallow end , he's the one who used to build Steam engines in Meadow court drive.

One of the Kids designed the T-Rex for a competition on Blue Peter, his name was Guy Taylor, thats the kid not the t-rex. I remember it frequently went for a swim in the pool.

I think St Annes is a great school, i'm enjoying year 5 in miss GB's class and most my friends are in year 6

i think the school website is really good, i like the games!
and looking at all the pictures in the gallery they are really good!

We both love st annes We think our teachers Mrs Davies and Miss Briancourt are the best !!. We both think that we are lucky to go to such a lovely friendly school.

I loved going to this school i made so many friends MR QUINN BEST TEACHER EVER!!!

i loved year 6 camp it was such a laugh.

Year 10 almost Year 11 with exams already done a maths one and gt a C one mark of a B and i owe it all the help and support of two teachers in particular

Lynda Blunt....I remember your brother Chris very well, say Hi to him if he's still around, I was in his class and am now living in Cyprus.
I had some great times at St Annes and loved my time there. I feel really old thinking about break times when the Steam Trains used to run alongside the playing field and everyone used to run to the fence to try and get a wave back off the driver or the guardsman at the back.
I remember walking to school in heavy rain one morning in 1968. In the morning assembly mr Angel the Headmaster announced we had been very lucky as the bridge we'd just walked over by St Annes Church had just been washed away in the floods. We'd spent quite a while throwing sticks over into the torrent that morning too!

Hello I went to this school from approx 1965 to 1972. I remember the headmaster Mr Angel dearly but still have nightmares about Miss Fuge one of my teachers :)
I have lived in Australia since 1972 and am determined to come back and say gidday. I would love some photos.

What a great website, very attractive to look at and loads of information about St Annes School. My son attends another school in the area which I wish would make as much effort as this school obviously does. Well done to the new head teacher!

I forgot to mention I have a 1953 school photo Hard to believe but the whole school seems to appear in the one photo with the headmaster

I went to st. Annes in the early 1950s I lived in Court road. I went to aussie and then n.z. My relations still live in the area

I really like St Annes iam in year 2 and my teacher mrs Davies is very nice

I am in year 2 and I like my school. I love playing football with my mates and I do enjoy learning all sorts of things!

A major improvement, however would it be possible to make the display page full screen as some information is extremely hard to read, especially the newsletters.

Thanks for comments. At present the website is on the old system and that is why the display is still small. I have been assured however that the website will shortly be transferred over to the new system and then we will have a full page display. This will then hopefully make things easier to read. Do keep visiting the website to check for new additions!

I went to st annes between 1975 & 1981, we didn't have a computer in the school let alone a web site. I think it is a very good idea, wish I had access to it when I was there. p.s Looking for the recipe for the chocolate crunch we used to have for pudding with school dinners. it was yummy!!!!

I like being at St Annes and I've been there for nearly two years. The school is big with a massive school field! I like to play football with my friends on it! My favourite thing I like to do is literacy, and numeracy is quite good too. My teacher is Miss.Jones and she is very nice and friendly.

i used to attend st annes back in the early ninties. My last year was in 1994 and i was on my way to SBL until my family moved over to NZ where i am still living now. I have great memories of st annes, particularly Mrs Smith and i can remember Mrs Cutter. Mr Turner was the headmaster then (its been a long time) i am now 24 and a primary school teacher myself. If you ever see this Mrs Smith, you had a great influence on me and i think you were a fab teacher!!! big ups to all those who attend st annes now!!!

Hello! St. Anne's was a gr8 school! I'm now at SBL, my fav teacher at St. Annes is Mrs. Walford!
